Seen any good movies lately?

So tomorrow night will probably be the last date night for a while since Pat's shift is changing back and he won't be off on weekends anymore. Blargh.
Anyway, I'm looking for movie suggestions for tomorrow night. Have you seen anything good lately?

singing tonight

We'll be singing at the East Columbia Library from 7-8. It cheered me a lot this morning to see my group in both the library email and the patch email. Here's the blurb from the library -

I got a flu shot on Sunday and I'm finally over the flu shot hangover. Yesterday was the worst, and leaving work early to take a nap was a great decision. I can't remember the last time I took a nap during the day and I felt so much better afterward.

hey book club people!

"Rich people are being ‘demonized’ for flaunting their wealth. Poor dears!" By Barbara Ehrenreich, the author of Bright-Sided. This article just made me chuckle. Enjoy.

Here's the most compelling reason I've seen thus far to get a smart phone. http://www.mediabistro.com/galleycat/change-your-boring-workout-into-a-zombie-story_b39057
People, I might start jogging.

Mmm

I made kaddo last night by combining two recipes - the pumpkin from this one http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/322446 and the yogurt and meat sauce from this one http://habeasbrulee.com/2006/10/20/kaddo-bourani-pumpkin-with-yogurt-and-meat-sauces/ It's not the same as Maiwand Kabob's, but it's still amazing. I went with the first recipe's pumpkin, because it sounded closer to MK's and used less sugar and took less time, but next time I'm going to try the 3 hour slow bake and see how that turns out. But for something that only took about an hour, this was fantastic.
I'm so sick of deleting spam messages here on lj. How do the other social networking sites not have this issue? It's getting to be 2 or 3 every morning that I have to go through and delete, and I don't post very often or have a large audience, so I don't know why I'm even hitting the spammer's radar.

Work is driving me nuts today and I'm just a big ball of raar right now.

Neat!
